To create a new post you simply have to click the plus icon located in the right-hand side corner.
From there you can add a title, a body and upload a file or picture to the news post. You can furthermore add the following:
Read confirmation means that other users have to acknowledge that they have read your news post. To do this, they simply click on the "clock" icon in the bottom of the news post stating "I have read this news".
You can decided whether not your colleagues can comment on your news post. If you enable comments you can comment the news post by clicking on the text box in the bottom of the news post starting "Comment this post".
Who to share the news post with
When you are creating a news post you can decide who you want to share the news post with. If you want to share the news post with specific units you simply choose which units you want to share the news with. However, you might only be able to share the news post within your own unit if you are on a low level of the organisation's hierarchy. Thereafter, you can also choose which user types you want to share the news post with. To do this you simply click the "Publish to" option and choose your desired user types.
When you are done creating a news post you can publish the post by clicking "OK" in the top right-hand side corner. You also have the option to set a publish time by unticking the publish option in the bottom when creating a news post. Here you can choose a date and time that you want the news post to be published by clicking the schedule option.
